Purposeful Living

Supporting Seniors and Improving Their World

Helping Seniors Feel Valued, Supported, and Empowered

This core belief is at the heart of how Cedarhurst manages senior living communities. As a recognized senior housing leader, Cedarhurst serves thousands of seniors and their families throughout the Midwest. Cedarhurst communities—in locations ranging from urban neighborhoods to rural settings—offer independent living, assisted living, and memory care services.

Our Commitment

One Community at a Time

We embrace energy-efficient initiatives in every Cedarhurst community.

Conservation

  • Energy-efficient LED light bulbs are used in the corporate office and all communities.
  • Automatic shutoff for lights not in use is deployed in new-construction communities and wherever standing communities are renovated.
  • Raised-bed gardens in most communities produce food for the kitchens.

Preservation

  • Specialized vendors handle safe removal of hazardous waste.
  • Washable plates, serveware, and cutlery are standard. When disposables are required, they’re recyclable or compostable.
  • Tree replanting after construction or renovation or to improve green space ensures low environmental impact.
