The Housekeeping crew, Mary and Chris, keep this entire building spotlessly clean. The attitude of all the staff is so cheerful and greets people by name. Katie is a sensible director, and the nurses are always helpful. Casey, our chef, tries so hard to accommodate everyone's taste. I am so glad that I chose Cedarhurst. It is a happy place to be.”

“Where do I start? I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff and care at Cedarhurst of Arnold. We left an unpleasant facility and came to Cedarhurst when an opening was available. From day one my brother was cared for as if he were one of their family members. My brother was in memory care and whenever there was a concern, it was addressed immediately. I truly felt that this was not just a job for the staff, but a calling. Their passion and commitment as caregivers to the residents was bar none. My brother has since passed and his exit from the facility was given with an angel walk, with tears and prayers. Some of the staff were off from their shift and came back to say their goodbyes. Just absoultely heartfelt. Thank you for giving your best and making a challenging and sad time in our lives more beareable. I will be forever grateful to you and your loving staff. “My mother has been at Cedarhurst Owensboro for 2 years. I can't say enough about the staff and how they care for not only my mother but all the residents. They are like family to her and they reassure us that she is taken care of when we are not with her. My mother is able to take care of herself, does her own laundry, makes her bed, take care of her own medicine, but should she need the assistance the staff is there to help her. Even though she is able to do all these things, the staff still checks on her several times daily. April Arnold has a special place in our hearts, when my we moved my mother there after my father's passing she comforted my mother so much and has continued to give her the same comfort and love. But all of the staff loves on the residents. People like that are hard to find and when you can't be with your love one it is important to trust those who are watching over you loved one. I highly recommend Cedarhurst Owensboro for your loved ones.”

But the building’s allure pales in comparison to the heart and compassion of the staff. Every time I’ve been there, Vera, the life enrichment director, has been running a fun party or activity that fills the space with warmth and brings out the youthful energy of the residents. It is truly heartwarming to see a room full of smiling, happy seniors enjoying their time together. “I'd like to share my outstanding experience with Cedarhurst Sr Living Center in Farmington, MO, particularly the Memory Care Unit where my dad resided. The apartment was spacious, and the dining room was beautiful, offering daily specials and a craft menu. The outdoor garden and sitting area were lovely, and the staff were wonderful, taking exceptional care of the memory care residents. My dad formed a special bond with Amanda, the Director of Nursing, who would join him for morning coffee and listen to his life stories. Valerie, the CMT, ensured his medications were accurate and also formed a friendship with him allowing him to live his best life. The entire staff was friendly and always available to assist my dad with his needs. If you have a loved one looking for Assisted Living or Assisted Living with memory care, i guarantee you will not find a more loving and welcoming home.”

I've been impressed with all the activities both in the building and the field trips/outings that the residents get to go on. The food is great and there are so many options. I love that they serve breakfast all day. What I love the most is that everyone is family here.”
