Cedarhurst of Frankfort Welcomes First Residents to New Independent Living Cottages in February

Frankfort, IL (January 6, 2025) – Cedarhurst Senior Living is pleased to announce that the first phase of the new Cedarhurst Cottages of Frankfort (21507 Wolf Rd, Frankfort, IL 60423) will open in February 2026, with the initial cottages ready to welcome their first residents. The full 32 cottage neighborhood — including the community clubhouse and outdoor amenities — is scheduled for completion in May 2026, offering a modern and thoughtfully designed extension of the existing Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

Created for adults 55+ who want to simplify their lifestyle without compromising independence, the cottages feature bright, open floor plans, full kitchens with islands, private patios, in-unit laundry, and attached one-car garages. These cottages are designed to provide the comfort of residential living with all the benefits and connection of being part of the larger Cedarhurst community.

The second phase of the project, opening in May, will introduce the completed cottage campus experience — including the neighborhood clubhouse and outdoor amenities. The clubhouse will serve as a central gathering space for social connection, activities, and resident events, complementing outdoor features such as the putting green, pickleball court, and additional recreation areas. Together, these amenities will complete the vision of a walkable, neighborhood-style setting designed to foster independence and community.
