Living true to our growth-focused
Commitment

At Cedarhurst, we are cognizant of energy use, waste management, pollution reduction, and natural resource conservations. Therefore, we are passionately dedicated to forming meaningful partnerships with businesses which demonstrate integrity and values aligned with our own. We strive to remain transparent regarding accounting, management, and legal practices to keep everyone comfortably on the same page.

Supporting seniors and improving their world.

Every person should feel loved, valued, supported and able to safely live life to the fullest.

This core belief is at the heart of how Cedarhurst manages senior living communities. As a recognized senior housing leader, Cedarhurst serves thousands of seniors and their families throughout midwestern and southern states. From urban neighborhoods to rural settings, our communities offer independent living, assisted living, memory care and long-term care and rehabilitation services.

Creating communities that make a  difference

While serving residents, their families and loved ones, our team members, the neighborhoods and towns of which we are located – we’re determined to make a loving, lasting and positive difference in the lives of everyone we come into contact with.

Conservation

  • Energy efficient LED lightbulbs are used in the corporate office and all communities.
  • Automatic shutoff for lights not in use – it’s a technology we deploy in new-construction communities and wherever standing communities are renovated.
  • Raised-bed gardens in most communities produce food for the kitchens.

Preservation

  • Safe removal of hazardous waste is handled by specialized vendors.
  • Washable plates, serving ware and cutlery are standard. When disposables are required, they’re recyclable or compostable.
  • Tree-replanting after construction or renovation, or to improve greenspace, ensures low environmental impact.

Sharing

  • Rural communities have more choices for senior care when we’re in town.
  • Local senior centers and chambers of commerce are our partners in meeting area seniors’ needs.
  • We make charitable contributions to organizations that serve seniors help us extend our service efforts.
