We planned Addington Place of Stuart as a way to bring seniors together. To foster a sense of community and connection between residents, caregivers, and staff. That’s because we want Addington Place to be the best place you can imagine living. A place providing life-enriching activities, exceptional dining and expert and compassionate caregivers. A place providing a safe environment for seniors in the community they already know and love. And a place where it’s always your life, your home, your way.

With 65 assisted living apartments, 24 memory care apartments and 106 independent living apartments, each resident is able to enjoy the independence they want and the care they need in the comfort of a home-like environment. Our expertly trained staff provides support based on the level of care that is needed. Each resident has a customized care plan based on conversations with the family, physicians and our caregiving team.

From the services and amenities to the staff and the building itself, our entire community is here to empower our residents to live life everyday with joy and fulfillment.

Independent Living

While life at Addington Place offers elegant dining spaces, well-appointed apartment residences with a variety of floor plans, it’s the vibrant life-enrichment opportunities that set independent living apart. With life-enrichment and wellness programs and the opportunity to sustain long-standing friendships and develop new ones, it all comes together at Addington Place of Stuart.

Assisted Living

Age does not diminish the basic human desire for independence, dignity, and choice. Addington Place seeks to fulfill for seniors what we all want each and every day—to be happy and healthy, to continue to contribute, and to have a voice in the direction of our lives.

Our Assisted Living community provides welcoming common spaces that offer the right balance of privacy and socialization. We also offer a variety of floor plans to suit the preferences of each resident. All apartments include kitchenettes, spacious bathrooms and adequate storage space.

Memory Care

Our Memory Care neighborhood is dedicated to residents living with Alzheimer’s Disease or other related dementias. These apartments have an innovative design meant to meet the needs of the residents in a home-like environment.

Our “Person-Directed Care” approach allows residents to enjoy life at their own pace and offers the choices and freedom to live each day the way they choose. These are just a few aspects that make life at Addington Place truly joyful.

I’m so disappointed I could not come for my quarterly visit to see my dad, Al Dawson and all my friends there. You are all constantly on my mind. Hope to see you in June. ❤️ for now, I will be your guardian angel here in California.

Addington Place Senior Living's Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response Team has been closely monitoring the quickly evolving news and information about the spread of COVID-19. Numerous State and Federal health officials have given guidance for all senior living communities to cancel all group activities and communal dining. To adhere to their guidance, effective today, and until further notice, we will be offering ONLY in-room dining services to our residents.

I know that previously we issued revised guidance on our dining rooms, but it is necessary in this situation to adapt quickly to a changing environment, including guidance from applicable healthcare authorities and regulators.

Any residents that need assistance or identified as having a risk of choking will continue to dine in the dining room during mealtimes. Those residents will be asked to dine at least six feet away from each other unless they cohabitate. We're taking this action in a proactive effort to safeguard the health and safety of our residents and staff. We believe that given the rapid spread of COVID-19, this action is prudent and necessary.

At the moment, we cannot say with any certainty how long this will be in effect. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and evaluate information and guidance provided by state and federal agencies to inform future decisions. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.
